SimGuard integrates data from multiple and unlimited, on-site security, safety and facility equipment sensors to create geographically-based, situation awareness, thereby enabling optimal decision-making.

SimGuard can be connected to any type of device: access control, surveillance systems (CCTV, VMD, NMD, and PTZ cameras), perimeter devices (electronic fences); fire detection systems, intruder detection systems, mobile devices, GPS, RFID and any other facility control systems (i.e. elevators, lights, etc.). SimGuard integrates information from all such devices and can initiate a series of actions using advanced algorithms which can be adjusted in accordance with user policy.

The blast mitigation calculation is based on advanced analytical algorithms. The analysis of a blast effect on structures is derived from a combination ofvarious parameters; such as the size of the assessed explosive, its type, its location, the structure's characteristics (glass, concrete, etc.) and more. Through the SGVR screen, SimGuard presents the areas of the building (indoor and outdoor) that will be affected.

SimGuard is utilized to manage the routine operations of the site. Logging routine tasks and information of the site into SimGuard provides important information to decision makers during an emergency. For example: a blocked emergency staircase due tomaintenance affects the evacuation plans of the whole site.
