Case Study
Leading UK Bank
Ben-Gurion Airport

SimGuard is a groundbreaking incident management solution that can be customized to meet the needs of a wide range of customers. While they may differ in size, site type and business sector, SimGuard customers typically share the same goal: providing employees with a safe and secure environment, and effectively controlling both routine operation and emergency events to preserve business continuity.

The following examples of SimGuard's implementation at various organizations worldwide show how the solution can impact on employee confidence and business performance in today's uncertain and unpredictable world.

A Leading UK Bank

One of the world's largest financial institutions, chose SimGuard 4000 to serve as its incident management and business continuity system at global headquarters in London. The bank's implementation of two SimGuard systems enable the management of both real-time operations and future emergency planning. The first system is an off-line consulting and training solution that enables safety managers to pre-plan emergency procedures and re-allocate on-site sensors in the most effective manner. The second system is an operational real-time decision-support tool, located in the bank's control room, which manages all security systems.

Multinational Power Company

One of Europe's largest power companies chose SimGuard to serve as its multi-site incident management system for over 40 remote sites worldwide. SimGuard was installed at the company's regional headquarters, as well as at several facilities, power plants and data centers. SimGuard enables the company's central security office to seamlessly detect any incident at remote manned and unmanned facilities.

Ben-Gurion International Airport

Israel's Ben-Gurion International Airport, which handled over 10 million passengers in 2007, is one of the world's most secure airports. Ben-Gurion selected SimGuard 3000, enabling the analysis of critical incident scenarios via several pre-defined simulations. Through these simulations, the airport's security department can estimate threats and take necessary measures to thwart them.

Israeli Parliament

Israel's parliament (the Knesset), one of the country's most secure sites, use SimGuard 3000 to achieve optimal deployment of its devices and sensors. By utilizing SimGuard 3000 3D visualization at the parliament building, the Knesset's security managers are able to construct a new optimized safety and security device layout. The re-evaluation and optimization of the Knesset's existing device deployment primarily involved cameras and fences, and led to significant cost savings.

Leading US Airport

A leading US airport chose SimGuard for planning the deployment of its security and safety devices, as well as evaluating their effectiveness against simulated scenarios. The system includes AirGuard, SimGuard's integrated simulation platform, which enables airport security managers to analyze and define vulnerable areas along aircraft departure and arrival routes that are threatened by man-portable air-defense (MANPAD) systems.
