Professional Services
  • Visual Database (VDB): SimGuard’s unique capabilities are based on the quality of its visual database – the geospatial 3D presentation of monitored sites and areas. Rontal delivers an accurate 3D geospatial model which may include different types of GIS layers based on customer requirements (e.g. street maps, gas and fuel layer, infrastructure layer, electricity layer).
  • Emergency Plan Database (EDB): SimGuard is designed to enable users to load existing emergency plans and easily construct new ones. With the best course of action for the various types of scenarios defined, this information, including all interlinks to specific pre-conditions (e.g. time of day, day of week, specific routine activity closure), is stored in the EDB. Rontal's experts analyze the customer's routine and emergency procedures, and help update them within the SimGuard database.
  • Crowd-Behavior Scenario Database (CDB): SimGuard can contain crowd pattern scenarios of any kind including evacuation, lockdown and queuing. Whether used in the planning, training or real-time phases, the operator has options to run any combination of crowd volume (number of people), availability of routes (such as exit doors) and parameters characterizing the nature of the specific scenario (such as average ages, people with disabilities, level of panic etc'). Storing those scenarios into the CDB enables the operator to get the most accurate prediction of crowd behavior at any time. Rontal delivers simulation outputs that include both a simulation summary (e.g. evacuation time) and 3D-model presentation that features the best visualization effects in order to serve as an optimal decision-support tool.
  • Blast-Effect Database (BDB): The analysis of blast effects on the internal and external parts of a structure is derived from a combination of parameters such as the assessed explosive's size, type, location, and characteristics (e.g. glass, concrete). Rontal's experts perform a thorough analysis based on field experience combined with advanced algorithms to deliver a detailed blast effect report that is loaded on the SimGuard database.
Training

As part of the SimGuard solution offering, Rontal trains operators to be proficient with the system. The Company also provides training courses suitable for users at various levels in the organization. SimGuard, itself, can be used as a powerful tool for internal training to ensure thorough incident preparedness.

SimGuard Integrated Risk Management

SimGuard's integrated risk management (IRM) system is a managed service offering  that provides the most advanced planning solution for safety, security and business continuity issues. Rontal's security experts help customers carry out the IRM planning process via the SimGuard 3000 planning platform. Planning outcomes are viewed by customers through the SimGuard Viewer (SGV). As part of Rontal's risk-reduction process, the IRM offering includes a complementary application enabling customers to avoid having to purchase the complete SimGuard system. In addition, data gathered throughout the IRM process provides customers with an advanced understanding of SimGuard's capabilities following completion and assessment of the planning phase.

AirGuard

AirGuard is an integrated simulation platform that provides planners, trainers and security managers with aviation-threat assessment capabilities. AirGuard runs a unique 3D-based computer generated analysis that simulates an aircraft's path and maneuvers while defending against man-portable air-defense (MANPAD) systems of various types and at various positions along the route.

SimGuard provides an accurate analysis, and defines the exact threatened area that needs to be secured.

Operational Assimilation

In addition to periodic training seminars, Rontal recommends that the Company's SimGuard experts accompany various systems users, particularly operators. This enables Rontal to help local operators overcome any difficulties, verify the system's correct usage, and support customers in helping them achieve and maintain a high level of operation.
